How to get to Medellin?

Medellín can be reached by air or by land. To do it by plane, there are two airports that provide service: a regional one, located in the city, and an international one, located in Rionegro, approximately 45 minutes away. If you are going to enter the city by road, there are several national trunks that connect it and two transport terminals for those who use the public service.

Medellín is connected to the country through the Medellín-Bogotá highway, the Troncal de la Costa, which connects it with Cartagena; that of the Coffee, towards the west of the country; the road to Quibdó and the exit through Puerto Triunfo, towards Bucaramanga. Medellín has two transport terminals, one in the north and one in the south. Buses to Bogotá and the Atlantic Coast leave from the Terminal del Norte. From the South Terminal, those that go to Cali, Manizales, Pereira and Armenia. Together, they transport 26 million passengers, through 78 companies that travel to 155 destinations.
